Barn Wars

This is a Star Wars Fan Film I did for Atom Films back in 2004. It was my first Flash animation over a minute long. There is so much I would change about it now, but it stands as a good reminder for me to not repeat the same mistakes. Still, I had a lot of fun making it.

The Yody Years

What was Yoda like as a kid? Find out in this Star Wars Fan Film. This is an animation I did for Atom Films in 2005. I was a finalist in the competition and went to the Celebration III Star Wars convention for the Award ceremony. I didn’t win, but it was a fun experience.

I stopped at the animatic stage because I had too many other things going on and had to draw the line somewhere. I recently bought an old book from 1949 called “Careers in Cartooning” by Lawrence Lariar. In it there is a section outlining basic moral/ethical rules for comic books. I found it quite shocking to see how far we’ve come (progress?). Below is an excerpt.
